LOVE

Picture

Light

Today we light the candle of love. Love is important to Christians. We hear about God's love for people and how people love one another in the Bible and in our world today.
Read 1 Corinthians 13:13, "Now, faith, hope, and love remain - these three things - and the greatest of these is love."
As we light the candle of love, may we think about God's love for us and how we can share God's love this week.
Light or color the candle (light however many you need for this week)
Question - What is one way that you can share God's love this week?

Learn

Watch the video of the children's book, Can I Play Too? by Mo Willems.
Then, talk about these questions together:
  • What character traits did Piggy and Gerald show in order to make room for Snake to play, too?
  • What makes people better at including others; love or being told that they have to do it?
  • How does this story relate to the Bible verse during the candle lighting? (1 Corinthians 13:13)
